arm of MTN Nigeria has been commended for donating a Haemodialysis Centre to
the University Teaching Hospital Ado-Ekiti in Ekiti state. Governor Segun Oni

people of the state and beyond the modern medical equipment for the treatment
and management of renal ailments. The dialysis equipment was provided under the
MTNF Medical Support Project introduced last year by the Foundation to assist
in providing critical infrastructure in public hospitals across the country.

machines two electronically powered dialysis chair water treatment unit and
pre-treatment unit borehole water facility two back-up power 3KVA UPS 2.2

27KVA power generator and four air conditioners was inaugurated Thursday
August 26 2010 at UTH Ado-Ekiti.

care system by providing care for the people through the establishment of
health institutions development of infrastructure and installation of hospital
equipment and facilities. To achieve this government sought the collaboration

Olusegun Oni at a colourful ceremony graced by indigenes of the state
including the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti HRM Oba Rufus Adejugbe among other

has the best eye clinic in the country with the state having the lowest
incidence of leprosy and zero incidence of guinea worm. The coming of the
haemodialysis centre will give succour to those suffering from acute renal
failure he said and commended MTN Foundation for helping the state achieve its
dream.
